I’m Kelly, founder of our beloved salon and happy to call Brookfield, IL our home. I would like to welcome you and give you a glimpse into the world of beauty that we create.

After working in the beauty industry for over a decade, I opened The Shop Salon & Style House in 2018–not just as a business, but as a passion. I started my career our early right out of beauty school, growing up in Riverside, starting my career in Riverside and now growing my family in North Riverside I am so grateful to own a I salon in my hometown neighborhood with a simple but powerful goal: to help people feel beautiful and confident in their own skin. It’s the same reason I got into beauty from a young age. Nothing gives me greater joy than knowing that we’ve helped our clients look and feel their best.

Our team of industry experts are all empowered by this shared goal, and I am grateful every day for the opportunity to work alongside such amazing people. We specialize in modern haircuts, extensions, styling, and specialty coloring techniques, including the exclusive Balayage French Highlighting method.

While we want you to leave feeling your best, it’s also important for you to enjoy the journey–that’s why we pride ourselves on creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.
